功夫茶博物館並非原先的行程安排，只是行過路過，上過厠所並順道參觀。有別於開埠文化陳列館，「功夫茶」館內全是「茶」的文化、由雅緻的茶具，精絕的瀹飲法、茶的種類，以至茶的歷史和源流均圖文並茂，詳細論述。
「茶既為飲，愛茶人便開始了煮水時對火候的研究」，出現了「羽扇鋼筷」的烹水器，以及沖功夫茶的「茶盆傢伙」的四寶，甚至乎茶洗茶盤都有說明。一直看下去，就是逸公壼、孟臣罐等泡茶器，以及比茶盤小的茶墊，都是曾看過別人使用，但不知所以然之物。
透過館內壁畫，可知飲一口功夫茶並不容易，分別為治器、起火候湯、納茶、沖茶、刮沫、淋罐、燙杯、洒茶、敬茶的九道工序，並同時展現茶葉的種類，分為紅、綠、黃、白、黑、青六款六色，深淺各異。
