鬼山因地名而得名，泉水沒有血池地獄般壯觀。但談到鬼山地獄，則以泉內飼養約80隻鱷魚為主，無出其右，故又被稱為鱷魚地獄。
由於今日並非周末或周三，因此未能目睹飼養員喂食鱷魚，群鱷相爭跳食的情況，可惜！
